Abstract This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Croatian Law on aquaculture, determines the conditions, criteria and manner of granting support within the implementation of measure II.13. "Insurance of aquaculture stocks" within the priorities of the European Union "Promotion of environmentally sustainable, resource efficient, innovative, competitive and knowledge-based aquaculture", within the Operational Programme for maritime affairs and fisheries of the Republic of Croatia for the programming period 2014-2020. The subject of the aid is a fee for an insurance premium based on an insurance contract for aquaculture stocks that compensates for economic losses caused by at least one of the following: a) natural disasters; b) sudden changes in the quality and quantity of water for which the economic operator is not responsible; c) aquaculture diseases for which the economic operator is not responsible; d) failures or destruction of production facilities for which the economic operator is not responsible.
