Abstract This Regulation prescribes the methods and conditions for use, implementation of necessary traceability and labelling of genetically modified food and feed. Genetically modified food includes: genetically modified organisms intended for use in food; foods containing or consisting of genetically modified organisms; food produced from genetically modified organisms or containing ingredients produced from genetically modified organisms. Genetically modified animal feed includes: genetically modified organisms for use as animal feed; feedingstuffs containing or consisting of genetically modified organisms; animal feed produced from genetically modified organisms.
