Abstract This Regulation sets out the terms of reference of the certification committee and prescribes requirements and criteria for the certification of bulls for reproduction. The Committee is in charge of keeping the national register of bull breeders. The Regulation provides for checks to be carried out by the committee on a regular basis in order to verify the compliance with the requirements previously registered. Specimens proved not to satisfy the characteristics required shall be castrated within 30 days and the relevant certification shall be withdrawn.
