This Regulation enters into force eighth days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation proclaims the temporary suspension of imports from Bangladesh of foodstuffs containing or consisting of betel leaves (Piper betle), in order to eliminate the potential hazards and to prevent the occurrence of harmful consequences that can be caused by pathogenic strains of salmonella.
