Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of 19 paragraphs and 15 Annexes, lays down the procedure for the assessment of damage caused by bisons, wolves, lynxes, bears and beavers. The presnt Regulation establishes also: the method of payment of compensation for damages, templates of documents regarding damage assessment and deadlines for reporting and assessment of damages. A victim, after finding the damage, immediately makes its declaration by submitting an application for compensation to the regional director of environmental protection, or, in case of damage caused in the area of the national park, to the director of the national park.
