Abstract This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 30 articles and one Annex, lays down requirements for prevention of leakage of hazardous liquids in connection with the design, construction and operation of storage of hazardous substances, the measures taken to prevent leakage of hazardous liquids, and training and equipping people to examine measures to prevent the leakage. This Regulation applies to the storage of hazardous liquids in stationary tanks, containers and stationary tanks or lagoons. Storage containers and equipment specified in this Regulation are described in detail in a reference document on Best Available Techniques on Emissions from Storage, which the competent authorities of the European Union published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
