Abstract The purpose of this Regulation of the Minister of Climate is to ensure that waste storage is carried out in accordance with the requirements in the field of environmental protection and the safety of human life and health, in particular taking into account the chemical and physical properties of the waste, including its physical state, and the hazards which may be caused by waste. The present Regulation, which is composed of 16 articles and one Annex, lays down detailed requirements for the storage of waste, including the initial storage of waste by the waste producer, the temporary storage of waste by the waste collector and the waste storage by the waste processing operator, as well as the storage time for infectious medical waste and infectious veterinary waste.
