Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Health, which is composed of nine paragraphs and four Annexe, lays down specific hygiene requirements for the transport by sea of bulk raw sugar which are derogations from the provisions specified in Chapter IV par. 2 of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the hygiene of foodstuffs. The transport by sea of bulk raw sugar which is not intended for human consumption or food production without the prior full and effective refining process is allowed in vessels or containers that are not exclusively used for the transport of foodstuffs.
