Abstract This Regulation prescribes the rules regarding the issuance of certificates of conformity to foodstuffs, for the purpose of export to third countries, and further provides for contents of related certificates and procedures for such certificates issuance, including inspection related reports. An exporter within the meaning of this Regulation shall be a food business operator entered in the register of exporting entities for third countries and engaged in food production and food market. The provisions of this Regulation shall refer to facilities or entities under the jurisdiction of sanitary inspection. Exporter notification rules are laid down in articles 3 and 4.
