Abstract The present Regulation implements the Cantonal Environment Law of 11 March 2007. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the tasks and competences in chemical legislation. Article 2 establishes that the Laboratory of the founding Cantons is entrusted with the enforcement of the afore-mentioned legislation. This Laboratory inspects the market, enterprises and points of sale and in particular it shall be responsible for marking, authorization and notification obligations, for the compliance with prohibitions and limitations and the information of the public.
