Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on marine fisheries, prescribes: the method of allocating the catch quota; the procedure for the implementation of the Public Tender; issuance of the Certificate for recreational fishing of trophy tuna specimens; conditions and manner of fishing for trophy tuna; catch limits per vessel; characteristics and quantity of fishing tools and equipment; method of reporting, deadlines, obligation to report catches; the method of handling caught specimens. The form and content of the Certificate is prescribed on the form printed in Annex 1. For trophy tuna to be landed, the responsible person on the recreational fishing vessel for trophy tuna is obliged to fill in the Tuna Catch Form for recreational fishing of trophy tuna referred to in Annex 2. Fishing license holder who made the catch shall follow the instructions in Annex 3 as regards the weight and presentation of caught tuna specimens.
