Abstract The aim of this Regulation is to fight against enzootic bovine leukosis. It sets forth the rules and procedures of precautions to be taken against the disease, detection and control methods. The Regulation covers provisions on detection of suspicious animals, announcement of the disease, entrance and exit of the animals to the herd, slaughtering, disinfection, provisions on the free from leukosis status and suspension of free from leukosis status. The Regulation further covers a provision on diagnostic methods.
