Abstract

This Regulation sets forth the rules and procedures of authorization and control of animal markets where animals for slaughter, livestock, breeding and other animals are sold. The Regulation covers provisions on authorization of the market, principles of hygiene, sanitary rules, protection against diseases that might outbreak in such markets and provisions on the responsibilities of officials and veterinaries. The Regulation further covers a provision on sacrificial animal markets and lastly sets forth principles and procedures on inspection, control, closing and sanctions.
