Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of article 17 which will enter into force upon the Montenegrin accession into the European Union.
Abstract

This Regulation prescribe various measures for the prevention of occurrence, detection, suppression and effective eradication of exotic and non-exotic diseases of aquatic animals and further sets the related health conditions that are to be observed in all stages of production, processing and marketing of products of aquatic animals (Agnath and the classes Chondrichthyes and Osteichthyes; molluscs; crustaceans, also belonging to the Crustacean subspecies) intended for human consumption.
