Abstract

This Regulation describes duties and liabilities of different ministries and governmental organisations for reduction of the consequences and impacts of the sand and dust phenomenon in different sectors including agriculture and public health by considering the local ecosystem of the lands that are more exposed to sand and dust wind. The text is ratified for implementation of some parts of the Clean Air Law 2017 with emphasise on protection of wetlands, forest, agricultural lands in light of the problems for water shortage. Nominated ministries are in charge to planning and reporting on the taken actions for enforcement of the provision further to this Regulation. The Headquarter on Prevention and Management of the Sand and Dust Phenomenon shall be in charge to supervise and manage the operation of different ministries in this respect. The text consists of 22 Articles.
