Abstract The present Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of 13 articles, lays down detailed conditions and method of conducting preventive vaccination of free living foxes against rabies, including areas where the vaccination is carried out, the type of vaccine and the method of its administration. Vaccinations for the forest areas and in all places of foxes living are carried out twice a year. They can be carried out once a year if there have been no cases of rabies in the given province for two successive years. The protective vaccination is not necessary if there have been no cases of rabies for three successive years.
