Abstract This Regulation establishes the maximum levels of heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, tin), mycotoxins and other substances/contaminants (nitrates, 3-monohloropropan-1, 2-diol, dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls and polycyclic aromatic hydro-hydrogen atoms) which may be present in and or food and foodstuff for human consumption.
