Abstract The provision of this Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on official controls and other official activities carried out in accordance with regulations on food, animal feed, animal health and welfare, plant health and plant protection products, are regarding the official certification of food and food contact material shipments that are aimed for export to third countries. A food exporter within the meaning of this text is an entity in the food business that produces and/or places food on the market of the Republic of Croatia and which is registered in the Register of Export Entities and which intends to put food on the market of a third countries (outside European Union).
