The disease is classified as a notifiable disease. In case of suspect of an occurrence of the disease, a detailed laboratory analysis must be conducted. The analysis procedure is given in the procedure. If the occurrence is confirmed, all animals and the eggs in the operation must be destroyed. Feed and other stuff shall be treated in accordance with the procedure given in the Annex attached. If the occurrence is confirmed, a surveillance area shall be set up with a minimum radius of 3 kilometres. Vaccination against the disease is allowed.
