Abstract This Regulation regulates the content of the notification and the notification procedure for a new substance, limit quantities of a new substance whose exceedance requires additional tests, types, testing scope and test methods, as well as the requirements under which data derived for the same purpose by another notifier may be used, requirements concerning the annual quantities of new substances placed on the market without notification and special conditions concerning the use of new substances which can be placed on the market without the notification on proposal of the Committee for Dangerous Chemicals and assessment of hazards (risks) arising from new substances.
