Abstract This Regulation determines issues relevant for the municipal waste collection and management as regards the territory of the Republic of Croatia. The purpose of this Regulation is to establish a public, quality, sustainable and cost-effective municipal waste collection system in all local government units, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, environmental protection, waste management and protection of the public interest.
