Abstract This Regulation lays down the manner and scope of the monitoring of groundwater, sampling frequency, analyzes and measurements in accordance with par. 8 art. 2 of Annex V to Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action in the field of water policy, and conditions of carrying out the monitoring of groundwater. The present Regulation is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Monitoring of the chemical status (Sec. 2); Monitoring of the quantitative status (Sec. 3); Program of the monitoring of groundwater (Sec. 4); Report on the state of groundwater (Sec. 5); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 6).
