Abstract

This Regulation prescribes the minimum scope and manner of monitoring in areas subject to eutrophication and sensitive to nitrates, which refers to the identification and monitoring of pollution caused by nitrates, nitrate compounds, and phosphorus compounds, especially from agricultural sources, as well as from other possible single and/or bulk pollution sources. In areas subject to eutrophication and sensitive to nitrates, monitoring is mandatory for water monitoring and activity monitoring.
