Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down methods of measuring and assessing the characteristics of equidae and methods of assessing their genetic value. Organizations involved in animal husbandry are obliged to keep the database on production and other characteristics of animals and this Regulation provides details on the collection of such data and method of data exchange. This Regulation is composed of 14 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Methods of measuring and assessing the characteristics of equidae (Sec. 2); Methods of assessing the genetic value of equidae (Sec. 3); Collection of data on equidae and method of data exchange (Sec. 4); Final provision (Sec. 5).
