Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Federal Law on waste management, determines the general principles of waste management in relation to medical waste. This text sets medical waste management planning, the establishment of a waste management committee, and issues regarding the transfer of medical waste to a third party. This Regulation further establishes a system of planning for medical waste treatment and medical waste management in order to reduce the risk to health workers, waste management workers, general public health and environment.
