Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of three paragraphs, lays down measures related to the occurrence of highly pathogenic avian influenza caused by influenza virus of type A of H5 and H7 subtype on the territory of the Republic of Poland. Is is prohibited to water poultry and birds kept by men with water from reservoirs to which wild birds have access, and to bring to farms where the poultry is kept corpses of wild birds or wild game birds. It is also ordered to keep poultry in the way which reduces their contact with wild birds, to report to the poviat veterinary officer places where poultry or other birds are kept, to keep poultry in the way that precludes its access to water bodies accessible to wild birds, to store feed for birds in the way that prevents contact with wild birds and their feces, to feed and water poultry and captive birds in the way that protects feed and water against the access of wild birds and their feces.
