Abstract This Regulation prescribes the necessary epizootiological animal health measures aimed at preventing the spread of highly pathogenic avian virus (bird influence) as regards the birds kept in zoos and other facilities, in which they are grown and kept for commercial or non-commercial purposes, including exhibitions, public education, conservation of animal species or scientific research from wild birds, poultry and other birds, that are subject to such animal disease.
