Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on agriculture, prescribes marketing standards for placing on the market of eggs of hens of the species Gallus gallus produced in the Republic of Croatia and intended for consumption or processing, including eggs imported into the market of the Republic of Croatia from EU Member States, eggs imported from third countries and eggs intended for export. This text ensures the implementation of certain European Union acts, as listed in article 2. Specific packaging and labelling rules are also here provided.
