Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on agriculture, prescribes market standards for poultry meat, sets rules regarding the monitoring and control of compliance of poultry meat with related market standards, and provides relevant rules for the production and placing on the market of certain types/processed poultry meat. This text ensures the implementation of the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 543/2008 laying down detailed rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007 as regards the marketing standards for poultrymeat.
