This Regulation enters into force 5 August 2000.
Abstract

This Regulation sets out provisions for the management in Mljet national park. Administration, protection and maintenance of the park are entrusted to the Public institution "National Park Mljet". The text consists of 128 sections divided into 7 Parts: General Provisions (1), Internal Order in the National Park (2), Fire Prevention (3), Marks in the National Park (4), Supervision and Administrative Measures (5), Penalties (6) and Transitional and Final Provisions (7). In order to protect and preserve nature resources in the park, this Regulation prohibits: hunting, fishing (except recreational fishing), import or export of protected plant and animal species, logging and afforestation, polluting of soil, introduction of hazardous substances, making of fires, etc. Fishing, navigation and mooring of vessels is permitted to the residents, as well as to the owners or users of immovable in the Park. Supervision of this Regulation is entrusted to the inspectors of the Public institution "National Park Mljet".
