Abstract This Regulation defines the principle of exchange of information by rapid alert system for veterinary medicinal products, in relation to the quality inconsistencies, including counterfeit and replaced or modified veterinary medicinal products. This text also sets out the rules aimed at determining those urgent actions where protection of human and animal health is necessary. This Regulation identifies three different categories of possible non-compliance cases, subject to rapid alert system notifications.
