Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of nine articles and one Annex, lays down requirements for points of entry of plant protection products into the territory of the European Community through the Republic of Slovenia, and the control procedures for the introduction of plant protection products. Importers, carriers and their agents are obliged to notify the phytosanitary inspector on the arrival of consignments. The customs authorities may not initiate the procedure of entry until the phytosanitary inspector allows the import. Inspection includes review of required documents. After the control, the phytosanitary inspector approves or rejects the import. The Annex specifies locations approved for entry of plant protection products.
