This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation hereby prescribes the correct manner and procedure for identification (ear tags) and registration of cattle entered from the Member States of the European Union, marking of imported cattle, registration of bovine animals in case of movement, further defining the register issues and animal travel permits.
