Abstract This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Montenegrin Law on the organization of agricultural products market, prescribes general and special quality standards and rules for placing eggs on the market, including the manner for markings and labelling of eggs (here intended only for hen eggs intended for human consumption). Eggs are classified according to quality into the following classes: 1) class A; 2) class B. Standards indicated in the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 589/2008 laying down detailed rules for implementing Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007 as regards marketing standards for eggs are here implemented.
