Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down actions for the conservation of biological balance in forest areas, measures to prevent forest fires and forest damage due to adverse abiotic factors, measures to prevent the spread and control of plant diseases and insect populations and rehabilitation of damaged forests, interventions that undermine or damage the forest, the conditions for use of forests, forest protection program content and details on reporting, and predictive-diagnostic services for the forests. Biological balance in the forest is established and maintained by: (1) maintaining and restoring the natural composition of tree species; (2) maintaining and building balanced relationship between the developmental stages of forests and balanced diameter structure of the forest; (3) measures to protect forests against harmful abiotic and biotic factors; (4) removal of dead wood; (5) areas that are important for the conservation of wildlife and plants; (6) works to maintain and improve the living environment of wild animals; (7) providing coherent relationships between forest and wildlife. This Regulation is composed of 48 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Conservation of biological balance (Sec. 2); Measures for protection from forest fire, protection from abiotic factors and mitigation of climate change (Sec. 3); Measures to prevent the spread and control of plant diseases (Sec. 4); Evaluation of forest (Sec. 5); Acquisition of forestry products (Sec. 6); Use of forests (Sec. 7); Reporting on forests (Sec. 8); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 9).
