Abstract

This Regulation establishes fees to be paid to the state for to cover the costs of the Norwegian Food Safety Authority in connection with the supervision and control of fish health and fish welfare in aquaculture plants. Inspections shall be carried out for the purposes of the Food Act and the Animal Welfare Act. The Regulation shall not apply to freshwater aquaculture installations, buy it shall apply to fish slaughterhouses. fees shall be paid for, among other things, processing and revision of operation plans (in accordance with Regulation No. 537 of 2004), inspection of plants, and control of documents.
