Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of article 7 which shall enter into force on the day of Croatian accession to the European Union.
Abstract

This Regulation, in order to protect the Croatian population and its internal food market, prohibits the importation of certain rice originating/containing products from China because of the presence of non-authorized genetically modified organisms.
