This regulation entered into force on 1 August 2006.
Abstract

The purpose of this Regulation is to strengthen the unified regulation of water quantity of the Yellow River, realize the sustainable utilization of the Yellow River water resources, and promote the economic and social development and the improvement of ecological environment of the Yellow River Basin and related areas. This regulation consists of 7 Chapters divided into 43 articles: General Provisions (I); Water Allocation (II); Water Dispatching (III); Emergency Water Dispatching (IV); Supervision and Administration (V); Legal Liability (VI); Supplementary Provisions (VII).
