This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation prescribes the detailed protection measures for the conservation of habitat types. Criteria and measures for habitat protection are determined by this Regulation in accordance with the national Nature Protection Law and pending international regulations. This text sets the criteria for determining and allocating of habitat types; determines the classification of natural habitat types present on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. Habitats can be classified as sensitive, endangered, rare, protection-needed, and as habitat of international importance; also this text set the measures for priority habitat types in terms of their protection and management, as well as protection measures for the conservation of other habitat types as listed.
