Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with the Law on agriculture and rural development, prescribes the criteria for determining the rural areas, including criteria for determining categories of such rural communities. Rural areas are all settlements within a municipality that have less than 30,000 inhabitants registered with the national census of households of Republic of Macedonia or with a population density less than or equal to 150 inhabitants per square kilometer. Other specific rules as regards the categorization of rural communities, are listed in article 3.
