Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down conditions of the reproduction of livestock, the process of production and distribution of semen, ova and embryos, conditions for determining the pollination ability of semen, the use of recognized males intended for breeding of livestock, and issuing documentation on the reproduction of livestock. These provisions relate to veterinary measures to be undertaken by collection centers, centers for storage and distribution of semen, and apply to reproduction of equine animals, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. This Regulation is composed of 32 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Reproduction (Sec. 2); Pollination ability and storage of semen (Sec. 3); Organization of reproduction (Sec. 4); Documents concerning reproduction (Sec. 5); Registers and reporting (Sec. 6); Control and monitoring (Sec. 7); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 8).
