Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the national Agriculture Act, and in accordance with the rules provided in the Directive (EU) 2015/2203 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to caseins and caseinates intended for human consumption and repealing Council Directive 83/417/EEC, governs caseins and caseinates and mixtures thereof intended for human consumption (food). Casein definitions are laid down in article 2. Marketing conditions are indicated in article 3; marking rules are defined in article 4.
