Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning lays down, in accordance with Directive 2008/50/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on ambient air quality and cleaner air for Europe: (1) methods and criteria for assessing ambient air quality; (2) details on access to information on air quality to support the reduction of air pollution and to monitor long-term trends, and improvements due to measures at local, national and European Union levels; (3) details on regular informing the public about air quality. The present Regulation is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Assessment of air quality (Sec. 2); Air quality assessment program (Sec. 3): Informing the public and annual reports (Sec. 4); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 5).
