Abstract

This Regulation provides rules and principles of artificial and natural insemination, ovum/embryo transfer, cloning and other bio-technological techniques applied to bovines, poultry, fish, bees, silkworm, etc. Individuals and companies involved in artificial insemination must obtain a permit by the Provincial Directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Only imported and locally produced semen, certified by the Ministry, can be utilized and importation of semen, embryos and ova must be authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Artificial insemination shall be performed by personnel trained and authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs
