Abstract

This Regulation provides rules for the international trade in live pigs between Norway and other members states of the EEA and Norway and third countries. The purpose of this Regulation is to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in connection with the import and export of live pigs. The Regulations applies to animal health conditions for import and export within the EEA and import and transit of live pigs from approved third States, with the exception of wild boars.
