Abstract

This Regulation amends extensively the Regulation relating to the quality and monitoring of water intended for human consumption. The amendment concern, among other things, the scope of the Regulation, definitions, application sphere, procedure for exemption from quality standards for household water, regular inspection of the quality of household water, contamination of domestic water, plans for exceptional circumstances and content of such plans, duties of municipal health protection authorities, microbiological quality of water (Annex I). The municipal health protection authority shall ensure that the facility that supplies household water provides sufficient information about the quality of the water supplied.
