Abstract

This Regulation, based on Section 15 (6) of the Veterinary Act, establishes the procedure for the preparation, organization and evaluation of the aptitude test performed by a person who has acquired the qualification of a veterinarian outside of a member state of the European Union. The Regulation concerns: preparation of veterinarian aptitude test, assessing knowledge of the professional ethics of a veterinarian and good veterinary practice, knowledge of legislation regulating veterinary management, animal health, food safety and hygiene, treatment and feeding of animals and the functioning of state veterinary supervision in Estonia; organisation of the test; procedure for assessing the results and reporting of results.
