Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of section 41 (7) of the Veterinary Act, lays down the veterinary labelling requirements for semen, ova and embryos collected from cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and equines for the purpose of marketing and storage. According to the Regulation, the packaging of reproductive materials contains following data: date and year of collection of the reproductive material; the name and registration number of the animal, as registered in the register of agricultural animals; the breed of farm animal; the license number of the company that organises the collection of reproduction material and the two-letter code EE representing Estonia.
