Abstract

This Regulation, in order to implement provisions of articles 157 section (8), 158 section (7), 159 section (6), 164 section (1), 166 section (10), and 171 section (3) of Law no. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation, concerns the Indonesia Investment Authority, an institution that is given special powers in the framework of management of governmental investment. The Regulation defines: State-owned enterprises; central government investment; investment fund. Matters covered by this Regulation include: status, capital and headquarter of the Authority; objectives, functions and duties; organisational structure; assets, loans and management of the Authority; core businesses and activities in which the Authority mainly exercises decision-making powers: drinking water distribution, and oil and gas mining; establishment and participation in investment funds; utilisation and distribution of profits; transfer of assets and State equity participation; basic policies for the management of the authority.
