This Regulation enters into force on 1 July 1999.
Abstract

This Regulation aims to improve the work of flood control, ensure the safety of people's life and property and to carry out economic construction smoothly. The Regulation consists of 46 articles divided into 8 Chapters: General provisions (I); Flood prevention planning (II); Flood prevention (III); Management of flood control areas and flood control engineering facilities(IV); Flood control and emergency rescue (V); Safeguards (VI); Legal Liability (VII); Supplementary provisions (VIII).
